| The Beatles second appearance at the Grafton Ballroom, West Derby Road,
Liverpool L6. They headed the five act bill, the other acts were Gerry and the
Pacemakers, the Billy Ellis Trio, Sonny Webb and the Cascades and the Johnny Hilton
Showband. One story from this concert was that 100 tickets were stolen before the
event with the thief unaware that the tickets were numbered on the back. The stolen
tickets were declared invalid and anyone trying to gain access to the concert using the
stolen tickets was turned away. The ticket on this page is numbered 430 and was obviously
not one of the stolen ones. |
