Derek Arnold presents 'Dancing for Teens and Twenties', a one off show and the only time the Beatles played at the Royal Hall, Rippon Road, Harrogate, Yorkshire. Also playing were Barry Corbett and the Mustangs( John Whiteley, John Bolton and Johnny Lockhead), who were joined by the Chinchillas, and Ricky Fenton and the Apaches( Bob Mason, John 'Dusty' Blake, Dennis Malvern and Dave Reed).

The Beatles played for a total of 60 minutes as a warm up to their Tommy Roe/ Chris Montez tour which started the following evening. The contract states that a sum of GBP25 will be remitted to Brian Epstein with the return of the signed contract. With the balance of GBP50 to be paid to the artiste during or at the conclusion of the engagement.
