18th June 2002 - Once again the World Cup is holding things up. Just a few items today; a Beatles press conference pass 19th August 1966 (Mid South Coliseum) and an unused 1964 honorary membership card for the Star Club, Hamburg. Also some Rolling Stones tickets for 10th October 1964 ( Odeon Thetare, Southend-on-Sea), 16th May 1965 (Long Beach Arena, California) and 8th October 1965 (ABC Stockton-on-Tees). The last item added is a signed photograph of the Beatles - signed by Ringo,Paul & George on the front in biro.
10th June 2002 - Apologies for not updating much lately .......too busy with holidays and the World Cup!! Anyway here are the latest items added: once again loads of tickets - both UK (mainly 1962, 63 & 64) and overseas (mainly 1966), quite a few fan club items, a set of four Beatle biographies from a fan club, an address book with the personal details of various bands including the Beatles, a set 6 Beatles pictures which were advertised for collecyion on the back of a magazine and last an invite to A Million Volt Light and Sound Show by Binder Edwards Vaughan for which Paul McCartney provided the music (28th January 1967).
8th May 2002 - Items added today are; a Qantas postcard ( from the flight which they took back to the UK after their Australian Tour in 1964) with the Beatles autographs on the back and a Cathay Pacific Souvenir card including a photo of the Beatles from flight CX974 Hong Kong to Manilla on 3rd July 1966. A promotional flyer for Beatle Bar ice creams, a Beatles programme for 21st July 1963 ( Queens Theatre, Blackpool), a promotional flyer for the showing of A Hard Day's Night at the Prairie drive in theatre in Dumas, Texas, a set of eight black & white Lobby Cards for A Hard Day's Night and also a ticket for voucher entitling the holder to two free seats to see the movie. A few New Musical Express calendars, a letter of regret from CBS concerning the Ed Sullivan Show on August 14th 1965 , and a press kit consisting of an information sheet, a pass and a promotional Beatles photo for the Ed Sullivan show on 12th September 1965. Finally a Mary Hopkins programme for her appearance in Dick Whittington at The London Palladium Christmas 1969 and a Rolling Stones handbill for their show at the ABC Theatre, Ardwick on 28th September 1966.
25th April 2002 - Today I've added a Beatles handbill for 6th September 1963 (Odeon Theatre, Luton), an invitation to the press show at the London Pavillion on 16th July 1968 for the Beatles Yellow Submarine premiere as well as several promotional advertising posters for a variety of things such as; Solrex Sunglasses, AB & C Bubblegum, the Beatles Hummer and Revell Build The Beatles Model Kits. Also a few Apple promtional items such as an advertising booklet containing studio services and rates, a one million Apple note from the Bank of Apple and a Words from Apple booklet. Finally added are a couple of Rolling Stones programmes; one for 19th January 1964 (Coventry Theatre) where they appeared with the Ronnettes and the other for 10th May 1964 (Colston Hall, Bristol)
18th April 2002 - A few British Beatles tickets for 15th March 1963 ( Colston Hall), 3rd November 1963 (Odeon Leeds)and 9th December 1965 (Odeon Birmingham) and USA tickets for 3rd September 1964 ( Indiana State Fair) and 29th August 1966 (KYA Radio) added. Also a Rolling Stones programme for 11th October 1964 ( Hippodrome Brighton) and a Rolling Stones ticket for 8th August 1975. Finally also added a Pink Floyd comic style programme for their 1974 UK Tour and also a coupon issued by Heinz offering life sized photos of each of the Beatles.
12th April 2002 - Back to tickets again! Lots more added - mainly British Beatles for 1963 and 1964.
7th March 2002 - No tickets this time!! Instead a Beatles programme for the Odeon Cinema, Weston-super-Mare for the 22nd to 27th July 1963 concerts and a Danish souvenir programme for "A Hard Day's Night" were added. For the 'various artists' a couple of Yardbirds contracts were added for concerts held at venues in 1965 along with a handbill for a concert at Coventry Theatre on the 30th March 1969 where Engelbert Humperdinck and Mary Hopkins were both performing. Back to the Beatles and a couple of press passes for the 3rd September 1964(Indiana State Fair) and for the 20th August 1965 ( White Sox Stadium) have been added. Next an odd receipt for some drumsticks bought for Pete Best from Frank Hessy's music store, some promotional flyers listing records to be collected issued by Parlophone and also a flyer for the new Beatles 'White' album. Finally several Beatles Fan Club Newsletters and other Beatles Fan Club Items. Happy viewing!
5th March 2002- Once again lots more tickets added for the following dates: 17th February 1961, 31st January, 5th April and 12th June 1963, the 31st May, 19th, 22nd, & 30th August and the 2nd, 11th, 13th & 18th September and the 8th November 1964.For 1965 we've added the 1st, 19th & 22nd August and the 11th December and for 1966 it's the 13th, 17th, 19th, 21st & 29th August. Other exciting items added are a set of eight Lobby Cards for the Yellow Submarine movie, an issue of The Fabulous Beatles Souvenir Song Albumand a January 1962 issue of the Mersey Beat Newspaper. Also price updates again for several items.
19th February 2002 - New items of interest added today are a few tickets for the following dates and concerts; 22nd February 1963 ( Oaisi Club, Manchester & signed on the back by George Harrison ),26th August 1964 (Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Denver), 3rd September 1964 ( Indiana State Fair), 22nd August 1965( Portland Coliseum), 19th August 1966 ( Mid South Coliseum, Memphis ) and also an envelope showing the seating plan of the Mid-south Coliseum as well as two advertisements for the concert. An invitation from United Aritists Corp to the first American press conference held on 10th February 1964 at the Plaza Hotel, New York, a John Lennon Fat Budgie Christmas card, and a letter from Ringo's mother to Freda Kelly concerning forwarding letters to her. A Beatles Fan Club invitation to the Southern Area Get Together on 14th December 1963 , a flyer for the Name The Cartoon contest - offereing the chance to win a trip to New Zealand and also a French flyer for the movie A Hard Day's Night. Also added are quite a few ticket envelopes forthe following dates: 22nd August 1964 ( Empire Stadiume Vancouver), 28th August 1964 ( Forest Hills Tennis Stadium), 21st August 1964 ( The Coliseum, Washington), 22nd August 1965 ( Memorial Coliseum, Oregon), 31st August 1965 ( Cow Palace, San Francisco), 6th September 1964 ( Olympia Stadium, Michigan) and 21st August 1966 ( Crosley Field, Cincinnati). Press passes for 29th August 1965 and the 24th August 1966, both courtesy of KRLA and Bob Eubanks. Finally a bus ticket ( Beatles Caravan)for transport from Dallas to Houston for the show on the 19th August 1965 at the Sam Houston Coliseum and a piece of the towel that The Beatles apparently used to wipe their faces on at their Hollywood Bowl concert on 23rd August 1964.
11th January 2002 - Happy New Year to all those who frequent my site. I hope that you are finding it a bit more informative each time you look. Having just arrived back from my Christmas vacation, I am still updating all the latest price information but I should get that posted soon. Meanwhile, the first items added this year are a couple of "Fresh from Apple" flyers for the Yoko Ono Fly Album and the Phil Spector's Christmas Album. A couple of Yardbirds contracts from 1965, a Christmas card signed by Brian Epstein, a handbill for a concert at the Royal Windsor Racecourse in 1966 and a programme from the Saville Theatre in 1967 both of which concerts Eric Clapton perfomed in.
